Members took advantage of the nice weather and headed to Cabin Creek to do Pump Operator Training.  Members went over basic pumps, drafting, portable monitor pipe operations, and pulling lines. 

Our department utilized the MFRI Training Center in Centreville to conduct an Operational drill for the department.  The drill went over everyday operations, RIT teams, Mayday situations, and also was used to train on our new Thermal Imaging Camera's.  Thanks to the instructors that were there to help conduct the drill.

Members of the department took part in some valuable propane training put on by Sharp Energy and hosted by the UCVFD.  Members of our department took alot of new knowledge home with them and thanks to the UCVFD for the invite.

Members of the department took advantage of some very useful training on our new Amkus tools on Rescue 2.  The regional representative from Amkus came out to give our members an overview on the Amkus tools and also some new techniques on vehicle extrication. 

Members of our department took advantage of some very useful training at the MFRI Training Center in Centreville.  This past weekend the safety and survival class was held and with the props still in place our department under instruction of Jason Bloom and Fran Jester took advantage of some very good training.  Members conducted the Denver and Columbus drills under normal conditions as well as under smoke and heat.  All members that attended the drill definitely left with some very useful tactics and thank the before mentioned instructors for their time and effort.

12 members of the department  took advantage of some very informational training with Station 9.  The training was held at station 9 and was put on by Chesapeake Utilities.  Thanks to station 9 for the invite. 

Members conducted training on Engine and Truck Company Operations.  Members conducted the drill at the Grasonville Elementary School.

Members of the department took Tanker 2 to Easton to participate in the regional Tanker Task Force Drill. Companies from around the region came to participate in the drill. Thanks to the Easton VFD for the invite and the well planned drill.

Members of the department drilled on a acquired dwelling. Members drilled on general fire ground operations. Members conducted ventilation, overhaul, search and rescue and other various drills in the house.

Members conducted a drill on drafting and ladder pipe operations on Monday night.
